Just got the RC 02 control with switch turnout and everything works but switch . So to eliminate if it was a bad track switch. I hooked up the other three track switches and none of them didn't work either. So here is the question ,how do I find out if the switch C002 is bad or RC02 is bad ? Bob

Checked power to track of coarse , loco's running slow or fast in both directions. But no power from were you plug in the switch control on control box. Bob

Try plugging the A011U adapter directly into the C002. You don't need the RC02 to use the C002. See if that works. Also, make sure to run the RC02 from the A011U adapter when trying to power the C002.

Rob Just running on battery power . Have no way to check just C002 by itself. Bob

Bob that may be the issue. I would get an A011U adapter. The battery may not have enough juice to power the switches.

Bob
I have RC-01 and RC-03 controllers which have 2 turnout switches built in but they also have the expansion connections on the left side of the housing as does the RC-02 and I also have a C002 switch and all work very well. When checking the voltage at those terminals on the left side with the power switch on I get 12.1 volts with AC adapter and 12.6 volts with fresh batteries. You might check the voltage there to rule out a bad connection problem.

Also just ordered the AC adaptor just to make sure, but my thought is it should work with the batteries . Bob

Just got power adapter . Tried it on the RC02 control with switch control plugged in and nothing happen with switch. Plugged ac adapter in on just switch control an it worked. So the RC02 must be bad. Bob
