Boy, this is an embarrassing question but is there an easy way to connect joiners to track? I'm using Peco flex and MTL/Peco joiners. I've used them both and they're both a pain, literally. My fingers are raw and I have a ton of more track to put together. Any advise is appreciated.

Hi Mark,
Take a short piece of rail and form a point on one end. Put the other end into a piece of wood or an old tool handle if you have one lying around. The point on the one end will open up the joiner as you insert it. You'll have the whole joiner opened up to the right size by the time you've got it all past the pointed end. You can grab the joiner with a small pliers on the sides to save your fingers.
Hope this helps, Thom

Thanks Thom, this was getting ridiculous. From the sounds of your advice, I'm not the only one with this problem.LOL

Mark, I have a pair of small offset long-nose pliers. They're used to fine electronic work and the nose shape is just the right size to hold the joiners.
