Hi-
I have inherited some s gauge marklin mini trains, tracks, transformer etc. I’ve tried to set it up, but can’t get the engine to move. I see the engine lighting up, so there is electricity and current, but it’s not working. Do you have suggestions for where to go to get info or troubleshooting, how to information etc?

People here can provide you with information but you need to let us know which locomotive you have.

Just a guess at this point, but it sounds like "hardened oil syndrome", when old grease hardens binding the gears.

Diesel or Steam? Road number (the little numbers on each side, front or so. Or, maybe you have the box it came in with the product number like 88051
