Z Gauge DCC EX Hi I'm amazed how well dcc ex is running my Z Gauge locos I'm blown away by concept of such a simple unit that can handle all commands most top manufacturers can do seems strange running DCC Z Gauge With a simple and cheap dcc unit lol

My Arduino dcc ex build using a raspberry pi and Steve Todds download. in using 12volts power into the motor shield and 5.5volts from Raspberry pi into the Arduino to energise the power the track then its a straight forward connection to internet and I'm using Wifi throttle lite as my wireless controller

It looks interesting. For a similar solution I am trying the pi-sprog (Raspberry Pi with Sprog 3 daughter card), also based upon the raspberry pi and a derivative of Steve Todds software (Raspberry Pi OS with JMRI). Mark

Mark Only advice I can offer make sure you compatible. Arduino Mega 2560 and try get hold Deek-robot motor shield beware of the clones please

Make sure that the Power to the Motor Shield is 12 Volts and preferably 1 Amp (or less, like 500 mA), not the recommend 15 Volts !!!
