While ATSF didn't own many E8's, AZL did offer these in brass and plastic but there's no lightweights to run with these units. Are there any plans, in the future, for E8 lightweight consists? In particular, something like the "Chicagoan/Kansas Cityan"....

Researching the San Francisco Chief, which consisted of hand-me-down cars from the Super Chief and soon-do-be-released El Capitan, I found it was pulled at least on several occasions by E8 #2. I have no road number of the accompanying B units, nor any reference to the as-modeled 80 series E8As. I suspect if I decide to model this train I just might have a few spare coaches for sale or trade.
Also watch on that auction site, it seems people are more willing to break up sets this days, so you may see an El Capitan sold off as individuals.
