I assembled 4 billboards by GC Laser. They look fine (take a glance here). Unfortunately they are rather brittle. So I designed them as 3D-prints in two versions (look at the lower part), the width for the advertisement is 22.5 mm and the height 22 mm. If the "upper" part is cut, the height becomes about 14.25 mm. They were printed at Shapeways in Gray PA12 and Smooth Fine Detail (better), for about 11 € each ; printing in metal was rejected both by Shapeways and Sculpteo.
I could put the CAD files into Public Domain ... but I don't know if there is no patent infringement (I don't know anything about US laws).
