You can shorten but how will you keep the sides & windows in proportion? Only single story structures? Hydrocal is easy to trim and walls are supplied separately. The Smaller kits have only one door or door area. The Atomic grill is only @ 2" wide in the N scale version, the same as the Z scale Micro Structures diner kit. |

In front elevation, Micro Structures Z "row" buildings are fine.
They just aren't deep enough.
I'm cutting down micro structures N scale buildings in height and scratch building new "longer" sides for the Z scale ones. Set between prototypical depth buildings they look great. Unused Z scale window side walls can be used elsewhere! See scratch building thread.
