The Central Railway Model and Historical Association, Inc. Expo in Easley, SC? It's held Friday, February 9 from 1:00 to 7:00 PM and Saturday, February 10 from 10:00 AM to 4:00PM.
I attended this show couple of years ago. It is really a pretty good show as far as vendor attendance....at least back then. Lots of N and HO scale stuff. I wasn't into Z at the time, but do recall a couple of guys exhibiting brief case layouts.
Don't know how Z scale will be represented, but it might be worth a try. Anyone have any further info?

Too far of a drive for me. If it is a reasonable drive for you, I would encourage you to attend as you just never know what Z displays might be there and what Z stuff you might find for sale.

Yeah, I'll probably head down there on Friday. I'm in Charlotte, so it's only a couple of hours away. Hopefully there will be some Z stuff there.

Overall, not bad. Plenty of stuff for O, HO and N scalers. Only found a smattering of Z scale stuff. One dealer had a Marklin starter set at the outrageous price of $300.00. Also had some MTL and Intermountain cars. I picked up an Intermountain tank car for $25.00, which seems to be the going price. He was a little pricey on the MTL cars, so I passed. Only saw one Z scale briefcase layout - it was not running. Was also able to pick-up a Marklin caboose, tank car and cleaning car for $31.00 for the lot. Even given the limited Z scale offerings, I'd still say this is one of the better shows in the NC and SC area.

There will be running Z scale this coming weekend Feb 17 and 18 in Madison Wisconsin. Check out Brian Williams and the WizKidz Z Scale Train Club (based in WI). www.nmra-scwd.org/
