Wondering if AZL GP 38 body is close to being same size as Alco RS 11. So all AZL has to do is a shell of the Alco and use the same chassis as the GP 38 Bob plus new truck frames

Markm Your good on info chime in You saw me looking. From a prototype standpoint the RS-11 is about 4 feet shorter on what I would consider critical dimensions: overall length and truck to truck centers. The GP38 chassis may work for the shorter length, I don't have an open unit at the moment, but the truck spacing is the real problem. If you're thinking about MLW version, the long low hood might also be a problem. But the good news is they both use the same wheels. Mark

I would still like AZL to put this in there to do list of engines. Bob
