This is close to 100% correct. Some of the items listed as singles were actually used in sets. Some of the B units were not powered. Hope you enjoy the roster!

Question? I do not know a lot about trains, but my dad collected z trains. Mostly marklins, micro z trains and several rogue locomotive works.
I know the rogue locomotive works are quite rare. Can anyone tell me anything about them?

It depends on what Rogue locos he had. They were mostly brass locos in limited runs, but many had running and/or power pick-up issues. If you could provide model numbers and road names and numbers, we could probably provide more help. Also, be sure to visit zcalemonster.com and look up his AZL page. He has an archive of old Rogue brass releases. www.zscalemonster.com/azl/c44/c44.htm is an example.

But I think there are 3-5 RLW engines.

Hey, sorry it's taken so long to get back. I get monthly IVIG infusions and they make me pretty sick.
I found the 3 engines I know I have. A blue Conrail 8205, a green Burlington Northern 2329 and a gray Southern Pacific 4836. They're in the original plastic boxes, with all the papers except one doesn't have a lid. I don't think my dad ever used them as he just liked to own things.
I also have a lot of marklins and microtrains as well.

That's cool Rosie, I think the Conrail ones are pretty rare! Any idea what they might be worth? We've thought about selling them but eBay is kind of a train wreck. We sold a few of his other collectibles, he collected tanks and boats and soldiers, and got hit by scammers.

I have no idea, haven't seen any on Ebay or anywhere else for along time, so have no idea what the value is. And yeah, Ebay has way too many fees, losing money there when selling. If you have pics, would love to see them though!

I have three locomotives that I am going to be selling or trading. I want to know if they are: 1. Brass? 2. Rare? 3. Desirable? The locomotives are: 1. RLW UP C44-9W #9790 (RLW1914) 2. RLW UP C44-9W #9668 (RLW1819) 3. RLW NS C40-9W #9104 (RLW1816) They are all in their boxes and wrapping. I am not sure if they have ever been run. It is possible the UP #9790 was test run.
Anyones input is appreciated, Scott
