The scenes are looking great Sven. Would the B&O ever be on those lines?

The scenes are looking great Sven. Would the B&O ever be on those lines? Hi Aaron, The port of Baltimore opens into the upper part of the Chesapeake Bay. The Potomac River drains into the Chesapeake Bay. Thus, I would assume that some of the tracks were close to the Chesapeake Bay, too. WM and Delaware for sure. Best, Sven

Great pic, but how did you model those 1:220 scale flying birds??? If you individualize you background, you can plan for the birds. Here is an example of a small Swedish diorama. It appears as if Grandpa is showing the kid on his arm the low flying geese...... Best, Sven

Sea lions? Lol!! Now you are taking reality a bit far. New England has seals & occasionally one will show up on the Outer Banks in winter, but the Chesapeake waters are normally too warm for them. Sea lions are strictly West Coast residents.
On another note, I liked your geese so much I ordered some for my layout, along with some chickens & 5 gorgeous dogs of various breeds-- at a very seasonable price! After Christmas they are making some goats. True to scale so you may need magnifying glasses to place them! Talented artists! Thanks for the link.

Only if you say this is a winter day in the South. Seals love cold water & cold water fish. But you know, this is your version of the Bay as an artist & creator so if you want seals or sea lions, that's your perogative. Frankly I like the idea. It's like the arctic snowy owl showing up on NC's Outer Banks 2 years ago. Nature can have her quirks.
