Here is the first one - the midnight mail train from Oakland, headed by a deskirted GS-4, six different (AZL) baggage cars, two RPO's, two coach's. Want to see more of SP 4444 ? Here is the link: azlforum.com/post/7694Comments? Which train next? Best, Sven

Which train next? Best, Sven The answer by AZL was loud and clear - The Southern Pacific Daylight Train, please. And they released it right away, a nice surprise. Hopefully, we can get one since the train set is limited to 60 sets. Here is the existing set with a SP GS-3 heading the train. The new set is supposed to nicely complement with the GS-3/GS-4 brass sets but one can use one of the many E9's by AZL or Maerklin as well. For the pictures at Niles please click here azlforum.com/post/7757 . Will report here more once we could get hold of one set. Best, Sven

Enough daylight, how about midnight? How about Southern Pacific's "Owl" train? (headed by two "bloody nose" E9s) Did you ever wonder how to take pictures in the middle of the night............. Have fun! Best, Sven

Rob was so kind and published some pictures of Karl Sinn's layout in the recent Ztrack Magazine. If you like these pictures, you can find some more here in this thread on page 16 and 22. As well when you follow this link (e.g. for the Big Boy pictures ): azlforum.com/post/7417/threadAll the best, Sven

AZL's Mikados are perfect for all smaller sized layouts. The Western Pacific ones, road number 311 - 313, were a frequent guest in the Niles area. Here are some pics from their last days in the early Fifties at Niles Depot; If you would prefer some color pictures please go to: azlforum.com/post/7324/thread on page 4 Best, Sven
