AZL will sell the E8 in UP, SP, and PRR, as well as some other road names (Hint: Kentucky Derby & Grand Ole Opry) So the probability of seeing road names; such as NYC, CB&Q, C&O and CNW; who had some of the largest fleets behind PRR seems in question. And yet we'll have the SP, who actually wasn't an original owner of E8s although they had one E8, # 6018. (Most of SP's E units where E7s and E9s [#6049 was an E9]). Or L&N possibly, who originally only purchased 4 units. However if some are going to be dressed up as E7 and E9s, then there's even more roads such as IC, Milwaukee Road, SAL and ACL that had larger fleets. Don't mistake my frustration with road names for lack of enthusiasm for the release. Just means I may not have to wait for lovely factory finish, rather I'll be able to get what ever releases first and send it to the 'DIP'. ~Paul E.

Remember that the E8 and E9 are externally identical, and we plan to release both E8 and E9. (The E7 had a very different look on the nose and sides.) we plan to produce the vast majority of road names you mentioned.

<Sigh> Thanks Rob. Good to hear, however now I must exhibit even more patience.

That's my best guess as of now. Hans may have better insight."

Thank you for being patient. As they say, the devil is in the details! That is why we have some delays on the E and F units. Very small adjustments to the E unit gears and general quality control. The Es and Fs will be manufactured at the same time and the Es are holding up the Fs. (F3s are ready to go) Hope to share some photos of SD45 and ES44AC plastic soon. Hope our 64´modern reefer announcement was welcome. We do plan another freight/caboose announcement soon as well! Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

We do plan another freight/caboose announcement soon as well! I hope it's a different type of caboose.

Hans: Any chance you fellas will bring out another batch of the CA-1 brown 40005 Union Pacific cabooses?
Seems like everyone was sold out of them in about a month. I looked everywhere for one, but no luck.
Sadly, I can't afford to buy one with the Big Boy set.
Thanks.
