I’d buy 6 or 8 more of these Geep’s . If AZL had shells in B&O,Conrail and Western Maryland paint schemes . But they said they don’t do business with that company anymore.

It only takes a phone call to find out if tooling is still available.
Too old to repaint ! Plus factory finish is better.

On Friday night, the AZL Direct website was hit with a Malware attack. Unfortunately, the hosting company is taking longer to correct the issue than we had hoped. I've trying to get on the site to see the deals and site is too busy to reach for the last two day even when signed on! what Kinda of Bogo sale is this!!!! keep getting the 404 code and so are others! Sound more like the trains your selling as other here has commented on! Must be stuff that has been sitting on the shelf for a long time! Your loss!!! Attachments:

Back but not well. The hosting company managed to get the site back... but then broke the catalog links. Every link takes you back to the homepage. If you want to order the specials, just hit add to cart. Easy! If you want something else, you will have to search for it.
Needless to say, we are still working on it... grrrrrrr.......

Re: GP7/9 tooling. The issue is not that to company is gone or the tooling just waiting in a warehouse somewhere. The tooling was damaged and AZL would need to completely retool to make more of them. IIRC, it had something to do with not using the correct torques or injection pressures and the tooling had developed a crack. I saw what looked like a casting error in the roof fans when I got my GP7s, asked AZL about it, and was told that the factory broke to tooling. I think they said the factory either did a temporary repair or injected at a lower pressure to finish the run, but that is what cause the casting issue in the fan details. Prior to that AZL had plans for more GP7s/9s, and I was looking forward to a SP freight version of a GP9. But that is all out the window now. So... MTL isn't making any GP9s. AZL isn't making any more GP7s/9s.

So I picked up the AZL C&O trio . I was impressed and seen were they were well stocked on several road names but none of the road names I wanted. I was hoping for a miracle. |

Well... After getting my pair today, I can definitely tell why they were offered... Pulled one out of its case and one of the brass long hood panels was floating around the case. Nothing I can't handle, but still annoying. Now if some one has a ATSF 2724, and doesn't want it, I'd be willing to trade one of mine 2733 or 2765. |
