Despite of the fact that I am not interested in buying such a (I must admit, beautiful) model since I model Massachusetts with NYC and NH, I googled a little and found this picture of a prototype ... with another "thing" near the horns ! The port hole on the rear of the locomotive is probably where the john, micro-wave, kitchen sink and refrigerator are located!!
