Chattanooga background and yard on my Southern and L&N layout under construction. Tenn, Ala and Ga "Tag Route" and Central of Georgia "The Right Way" cars can be seen. Purchased the steel mill background flat in N Scale and cut two inches off the bottom to bring the perspective down to size. LED lighting is 9 volt battery powered with an on-off switch on the rear of the backdrop board.

I do love seeing mixed freight, backdrop has a great atmospheric look to it!

The Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia or "TAG" ran 90 miles from Chattanooga to Gadsden, Alabama. It was swallowed by Southern and is now abandoned... one of my faves as it runs through my county along with the former Central of Georgia. The Central track is still in operation as the Chattooga and Chickamauga shortline, with track purchased from Southern by the State of Georgia. |
