...like NP, GN, BN, Milw and UP had from the mid-60's to now!
You can still these roaming the tracks of North America, most of the time in former owners paint schemes. Wasn't until the mid-2000's when BN's former NP and GN cars were sold and painted out. Dunno what ever happened to UP's, maybe still out there somewhere. Milw's are probably long gone.
Only versions are the VERY expensive brass ones occasionally seen on Ebay and such.
Be nice to have some of these for a little cheaper for our Z Empires!

Did SP have any? Seems like they would for Oregon wood products use.
Any South Eastern roads have them?

Yes, and Harald Freudenriech will no longer be making them, so if you find one, you better grab it! (not at SUMGAI/Scandinavian Galleries pricing, though ). I believe Gerd Kurz has acquired SOME of Harald's original kits and patterns, so you could possibly contact him to have some made, but that will also be expensive. Don't think AZL has ever entertained the idea. Rob?

This one is a relatively easy car to do via 3D Printing. I know there are several done in N on Shapeways, and I believe even some in Z. But if you're looking for something specific it's definitely worth asking if the N cars can be made in Z.
I know of at least one modeler working on an SP specific woodchip car in N, and I've asked him about possibly doing it in Z...he has a resin printer and it would be more of a retail style product vs the Shapeways sales model.
If I end up staying in Z I'll definitely need some for hauling cotton seed...a role some of these cars have taken on in later years.
