Opened my mail to find that there is a new Z scale Digitrax decoder: DZ126Z1. Fits the AZL PAs.

Thanks, it was an easy sell for me to Digitrax to quickly make, plus update the 15 year old chip. AZL ‘hopes’ future chassis use the same frame/motor mounts (but have mentioned, it’s not always under they’re control.
1) unscrew 4 screws with 1.25 Phillips
2) remove present board (just pull up, but be sure that 2 motor contact ‘loops’ on top come out easily but DO NOT press down 1st before lifting)
3) align the 2 motor loops to the PC board holes (tilt the board up on your side) the press down on the board and just slightly forward to align the front holes.
4) put in 1 front screw, the one opposite on rear of the board. (It’s not a written rule, I just mentioning an easy way).
5) do NOT pull the motor loops up. The hole is plated through so conductive every where.
You no longer have to check for shorts !!!
