Pour yourself a nice, cool tropical drink and see what's coming from AZL. Hint... it's a lot

Well this is interesting stuff! One of my Most Wanted items, and wow I never thought we’d see spine cars as a mass produced item.
I will buy a lot of the Maxi-IVs which have been near the top of my most wanted list. And likewise the spine cars will likely be a large purchase.

Combine cars! The missing link!?! What roads will be included? Does this mean another run of sold out heavyweights is also coming eventually?
Whoa COLA is still in the works with dome diner and dome observation? Even though it was sent back for rework, it's still a great time for passenger train fans.
And the Pere Marquette is just icing on the cake 🍰

Once again impressive. So many questions….
I assume details of roads, numbers and paint schemes are a ways away. So when do you hope to have that information finalized?
Will the combine come with other than the clerestory roof?
COLA - if this came as a surprise to anyone they shouldn’t be allowed to buy it. RobA has been teasing it since Christmas. Any port holes? As long as you have the Armour Yellow paint out, how about a couple of additions to the COSF? I think I saw in one of RobA’s posts an appropriate sleeper. Could also use a couple more coaches. Don’t know if it was intentional, but the coaches are mutually exclusive: named coaches were retired in ‘48 before the other was built. The C&NW & SP were the same prototype cars. Happy to suggest alternative names/numbers.
Now that we have all the containers coming, what do we have to unload them? Then what, build a wall in a 1:220 AZ?

Timing on the revised COLA was a bit vague, but I gather not until next year? I'll keep running my E8s/E9s round and round until then.

Once again impressive. So many questions…. I assume details of roads, numbers and paint schemes are a ways away. So when do you hope to have that information finalized? Yes, but we need to get those details to dealers first so they are as prepared to answer questions as our knowledgeable forum memebers are! Will the combine come with other than the clerestory roof? No roof options - all clerestory. Pardon the pun but Combinations of the Combine are: Baggage door windows (3 kinds) and Trucks (4 and 6 wheels) COLA - if this came as a surprise to anyone they shouldn’t be allowed to buy it. RobA has been teasing it since Christmas. Any port holes? As long as you have the Armour Yellow paint out, how about a couple of additions to the COSF? Don’t know if it was intentional, but the coaches are mutually exclusive: named coaches were retired in ‘48 before the other was built. The C&NW & SP were the same prototype cars. Happy to suggest alternative names/numbers. Was I that obvious?!? Well, I guess it was a pretty easy thing to figure out! Details of the CoLA are still being finalized. We were debating the Ocean series of sleepers, but I think at the end we decided to NOT make it since there were only 5 prototype cars. Thats not very many for the expense of a fully tooled sleeper. Now that we have all the containers coming, what do we have to unload them? Then what, build a wall in a 1:220 AZ? Mark 3D printers beckon. Enjoy! -Rob(A)

Aloha, Hope you liked the video. We forgot to mention that new Z-Panzers are around the corner. The M1070 tractor and the M1000 tank trailer. Both will be available in desert yellow and olive green. The Oshkosh tractor also in NATO camouflage. They will be sold together with our RTTX 89´Flat Car. A note on the Tunnel Motor. Hectic playing with the Tunnel Motor resulted in a couple of parts that fell off the locomotive. We inserted the Dynamic Brake part 180 degrees wrong, but rest a sure it will be in the correct direction when delivered. And the finished Rio Grande SD40T-2 in the background is an H0 model from another manufacturer. Thought it looked interesting to see the scale comparison

Thank you Hans. Thank you Rob. Today: Loop. Tomorrow: Layout!
RE: C&O Pere Marquette E7 unit—The still sample in the video.
Is a stripe missing? On prototypes I am seeing that the pinstripes in the lower gray band break for the lettering. A stack of five pinstripes break while there is one on the bottom that is continuous and runs under the lettering Chesapeake and Ohio. Is a stripe missing?

Having made the SD45, and now the SD40-2 and Tunnel motor, would it be much of a “stretch” to make the Ess Dee PEE Forty-Five ? Not only Espee, but also GN, BN, EL, CR & NS versions, plus Kodachrome ! Already have the right cab with L shaped window driver’s side.

They became regular service for SP passenger service by the mid-1960s. I must admit right now I’d rather have an FP7s, they are a better fit with the era of the available passenger cars.

Me too!
67-70 Great Northern "Empire Builder", in Big Sky Blue with SDP45's leading would be epic!

Yes, big sky blue livery is notable by it’s near absence. Only the switcher - announced in June part 2, then one of the two was reported as sold out on 21 Aug ! So there is interest out there. A big locomotive, and a set of lightweight coaches would be very welcome. BN cascade green with “hockey stick” liveried coaches too, often seen in mixed rakes during the transition era.
