Is it possible to connect micro train track to Rokuhan track? Just got into z scale trains and have a lot to learn. Thanks in advance.

Yes it is possible to connect the MTL roadbed track with Rokuhan. Remove the plastic road bed joiners and use only the metal rail joiners. The rail height is nearly identical. You may need a shim under I ’think’ the MTL track. One was was just slightly lower in profile. Just note, Rokuhan uses wider tie spacing than Micro-Trains. You may notice this if interconnecting track systems.

Yes - you need part #ROK-A014.

Ken, Welcome to the forum and Z scale. You didn't mention which type of MTL track you were considering. If you're using the flex track, the A014 is the answer. You will need to build up the roadbed under the flex track by about 0.1 inches. With the MTL roadbed track things are a little more complicated as Rob described. There is an overall height difference, about the thickness of 3-4 index cards. (MTL left, Rokuhan right) There is also a rail height difference of 10 mils. You may find you need to file down the Rokuhan rail a bit. Hope this helps, Mark
