Started laying track at my Z scale layout that will feature a USA style operation with a grain elevator and some town running like La Grange. This is going to be a testbed for me before doing the big N scale layout and will also be able to be put on display on model rail shows. As American layouts are quite rare in Europe I hope it will be a refreshing sight for many. Stock will be a mixture of things I like. I recently got a Metrolink set imported from Australia and have a CSX and Chessy Sustem loco with some grain hoppers and Intermodal set. Planning on getting more grain hoppers, an autorack set, a BN green SW1500 as well as a CSX one and perhaps a UP and NS loco for the container train.

Lookin good! Interesting to see how it will grow!
En ja: er zijn meer Nederlanders op dit forum! And other Europeans as well!

That'll keep you busy with switching and running!
Maybe a scene divider near the yard to break up the area, makes the layout seem larger, and you can paint it up like a city scene on one side, country on the other.

Nice start! What track are you using? What is the overall size?

Nice start! What track are you using? What is the overall size? Scott This is Rokuhan track I bought from PlazaJapan who at the time had it at half the price others charge, so I bought in “bulk”. The layout are two modules of 1x1 meter.
