We were able to add the NH Orange & Black paint scheme to the 1st production run. Pre production has started with injection parts already produced. We have to sort out the SW introduction first. Hopefully the first release in October. That should hopefully translate into December delivery of the first PAs. That said, I have been wrong before Maybe they are PA's

Well you all saw the header I got the pre production samples that I will scrutinise over the Holidays. Bad news is that I am hunkered down in a cabin so I will be a week delayed giving feedback to the factory. Good news is that they looked correct and delivery should be in January. Hope you all are enjoying the Holidays and a have a Happy New Year!

<button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> Never mind the red arrows. They belong in the UK skies and not on the AZL PAs! D& H differences :- Numbers 16, 18 and19 were as depicted in your illustration, but #17 was modified before leaving Santa Fe to remove the characteristic rain strip behind the cab, and made to look cosmetically like a PA-2. When released, will the models reflect this difference ?

And the PA locomotives may ship end of next week from China. If they do, the first release would be mid February

AZL offered the PA1 to Märklin and they will offer the UP PA1 (88619) roadnumber 605 this year. Yes it will have the Märklin style coupler. It can be viewed as part of the 2022 Märklin news. The photos show the PA1 without the pilot, but pilot will be included in the production model. The AZL units are painted with grey antiglare whereas Märklin chose the green antiglare. All correct and used at different times during the UP service years

Come on Märklin, at least put the pilot on the PA-1 in the photos... Could the UP be last in the distribution schedule? I want to "buy" more time
