I am a new guy to this thread and z-scale, been at it about a year. It has been a space shuttle takeoff ride learning all about z scale. I started off with Marklin because that is what my brother had initially built for my wife. As I got the dormant set revived I started searching the internet to find US providers of z-scale. I stumbled onto MTL and Zscale Monster Trains. I started expanding my layout and horizons and also found AZL and finally this forum. Everyone I have dealt with in z scale has been helpful. This forum has been helpful at times with technical issues such as track problems, locomotive issues and purchasing new equipment. My limited experience has provided me the insight to recognize good equipment and good advice. I believe the "big" three (AZL, MTL, and Marklin) are doing a great job promoting our hobby. They may not be equivalent to N, HO or O gauge manufacturers but they serve us well from my experience. Be well! Stay safe! Fish on!
