There is a text "Closing down" in the header of their homepage. And 20 % discount. So, if some people are interested in buying 3D-printed "vintage" automobiles, hurry up ! Another victim of the corona crisis ?

No, he`s not. I read in the Trainini online magazin a year ago that he is closing his z-scale business.

But it seems that it concerns all scales ...

Are these autos readily paintable with typical model paint (Tamiya, etc.)?

Concerning the Z models : yes, a friend painted several of them for me with Tamiya paints (he doesn't use Humbrol/Revell). About the other scales, I don't know.

I had no idea that company even existed, and I really want 1950's American vehicles as they are the only styles I would ever prototypicaly find on my modeling efforts.
Made a large order, selecting all the 1950's US vehicles still available. I hope they all arrive OK, I selected 1:220 shipping and tracking, whatever that means, as all the shipping options are cryptic and unexplained, except the "no 1:220 no tracking (risk)" option.
I had also ordered some US style 3D printed vehicles from Carlos Pinto way back in April, but they never arrived, so I sure hope this order comes through, as nobody else is producing 1950's US vehicles in Z.

I had also ordered some US style 3D printed vehicles from Carlos Pinto way back in April, but they never arrived April... Post Covid shutdown which iirc started in mid March. If I were to guess that parcel is stuck at Portugal waiting for mail services to resume or for a large backlog to clear. I have had parcels going really slow even to Australia. I'm talking 8 weeks for services that take 10 days usually.

Been a month and no shipping notification from A2models, just order confirmation. Still no Carlos Pinto cars either...done with all overseas purchases until several other guinea pigs have a track record of reported successful shipments received. This has been going on for years, I consistently hear of someone producing 1940's through 1960's Z Scale Vehicles, I order, and for some reason or another NO DICE! I feel like just modeling "ZOOM ZONES" where I model the area where the vehicles will be, then model a large circle area that even has circular cuts into structures and scenery, then zoom in and use an N Scale model auto, and just tell people those are zones where we zoom int to see the automobile that is represented there: ZOOM ZONE:

I bought from him several times last year without any trouble. I suspect that it has something to do with the pandemic.
I am waiting for some figures from someone overseas who emailed me that he would make them in April.
I still haven't heard anything from him. I suspect that he's in the same situation.

Yay! My Carlos Pinto vehicles arrived today. They look great, very smooth RP, well packed and nothing broken. So, it took 3 months, which is a long time, but now that i have seen them, I will order more. Still waiting on my A2 Models order, I hope it don't take as long

Yay Again! My A2 Models vehicles arrived. These are resin castings of RP models, and they look great. Not as good as Carlos Pinto vehicles, as some steps are visible on several of the models, but many of the A2 Models masters were made with older 3D printers, still usable as foreground models. Many are still available too! All 20% off.

He doesn’t have anything listed on eBay at the moment but seller simonartz paints awesome automobiles. I have several of his from the 50s and early 60s and they are as realistic as any I’ve seen so far.
