Finally! We will receive production samples next week. Hope for production in November and first delivery in December. (I said hope  ) That does, of course, potentially mean an overlap with Black Friday specials... |

30 days? Well locomotives are in transit to the US after we made some modifications.
But before any release, Rob Kluz and his wonderful team in Ohio will do thorough testing. Fingers Crossed!

I'm just going to let this one go. It's better for my mental health. But I can say this: I've just finished testing a ton of samples, and the SD40-2 looks like one of our best locomotives ever. Hans did a great job with it. To use a Baseball analogy: I was just the closing pitcher to get it over the finish line. It was a team win. Fingers crossed Indeed!  |

Large shipments from China now takes quite a bit longer time than before. There are red tape on both ends and each shipment seems to live its own life until it arrives at AZL.
Hope to have two SD40-2 releases out to dealers before year end. The 30 days will include custom clearance out China, transportation, custom clearance into the US, transportation to AZL in D.C., repackaging and transportation to Ztrack in Ohio, product testing in Ohio. I think it is doable unless something happens!
