It’s been a year and a half since the last time I made a post on this forum and for that matter played with my trains but life has gotten in the way... I found an old 1959 Volkswagen Beetle that I’m restoring, sold a decent portion of my collection and got interested in other hobbies, plus sports, school, and other things, so recently I decided I’d pull out a little marklin starter set I’ve been hoarding these past few years and figured I’d jump back into it. just wondering how the z-scale scene has changed and what new products have been released.
Good to be back!

Well, let's see...
About a year ago, I used an image of you and your table layout in a presentation made at the Pacific Coast region convention of the NMRA.
Some highlights - Good news was that AZL released the PS LV passenger cars. Bad news: much of the UP & SP sold out quickly. They also released the ES44C and ML-4000 (another sell out). MTL finally started shipping the SD40-2 locomotives. Also a HW business car. Atlas released their #6 turnouts.
Big bad news - a major contact manufacturer of model trains closed it doors, leaving many model railroad companies (including AZL) scrambling for new capacity and delaying announced schedules.
Sounds like you're just being a normal teen. BTW; always let your VW set overnight before setting the valves.
