They won't fly off the shelf because they will never find their way to a shelf after the orders are placed.
Like an old movie I remember...gone in 60 seconds.

Just send the first case to sunny California, and I'll pass them out to the guys!

I feel sorry for the people who actually want the road names that are first released. I think we're all planning on repaints.

What is the expected wait for the "heavy" mikados?

I feel sorry for the people who actually want the road names that are first released. I think we're all planning on repaints. Due to expected demand, we are considering releasing them all at the same time. The trade off is we will have to test them all first for defects, so that will delay release by a couple of weeks. You guys have an opinion? (Duuh, yes, I know you do, but whats the preference?) I expect June if we do one road name per month, or July if we do them all at once (NTS delivery anyone?)

Do them all at once. Many will be buying multiples and it seems like a good way to go.

My vote is to release all at once OR maybe post a list of road names, heavy/light and their approximate release date.
My thoughts on this. Not knowing if or when the road name I want will be released, I will buy the first one released regardless of road name to insure I get one. Then I would have to pay to someone to repainted and decaled to suit my needs.
But if I knew my road names B&O , C&O , PRR was going to be released I would wait and buy one of each as they were released.
We have waited this long. So I think for most of us waiting a little bit longer to get the road name, heavy/light we really want, will be the popular choice.
(NTS delivery) Hell Yes !!!!! That would be all the incentive I need to change my "Maybe attend" to "Guaranteed I will be there"

I don't care just as long as CB&Q is one of them.

I would like at least 6 PRR Mikado's, so if you can release a few other roadnames for the "repainters" and take some pressure off the first release numbers then i think that would be good. If you plan on doing a re-release of PRR later on then PRR fans like me might not stress so much about missing out to the people who want any Mikado and dont care about stripping off a perfectly good paint job. No offence intended to any of the repainters out there, but it is sad to me when someone buys a PRR loco that i would have liked to buy and paints it in other colours.

We'll I'm going to wait for the heavy Mikados for my WP needs. I'm hoping that the light Mikado comes in SP, or I will be repainting.
I'm for releasing them all at once. If I have to repaint, I can just wait a few days and order a road name that didn't sell out.

Time to talk about upcoming roadnames. We have not decided on the order, but these are the roadnames for our first Mikado run: Light: CN, UP, SRR, B&O, NKP, PRR Heavy: Milw, GN, WP, CB&Q, ATSF Sincerely, Hans (AZL)

Hurry with the UPs and get my cookie jar to shut up.
It's moaning from the weight of my Mikado UP savings.
