Welcome arches are common in the California central valley cities, but I know none as elegant as the one in Lodi. The station is a fairly common design for the SP as well as the T&NO in farming communities (with some slight variations.) So it should have applications for a number of modelers. For the fountain, I've probably been to the station 20 times and I've never noticed the fountain. It's good that you didn't model the birds...then you'd have to model the caca. Mark

Thank you Charlie. Unfortunately I’ve no data about that station’s size. I was thinking about a full scale model but maybe it’s too big... I will try to find this data searching on Google maps or Google Earth. Maybe you’re right about scaling it down. I’ll let you know, in the case you’d be ok... Dom Hi Dom, Yes, google earth helps for aerial view and general size. But clean pictures with size references (a car, character, or other detail) is better for sides. Original drawings are even better ! Charlie

Hi there! I've been busy with other work lately. I'm now preparing the next models. First, I will make a series of backdrop buildings. It will consist of 4 backdrop industries buildings, of course inspired by real ones from different regions:): -A creamery company bldg -A Meat packing building with platform -2 brewery building (a depot with platform and a bottling bldg.) They will be between approx. 15 to 30 cm long (one or two of them could be modular with possible extensions). Depth will be around 3-4 cm to be used as a backdrop. Release date is not fixed, probably the first one by the end of the month, then one every 2 weeks. Hope you'll like Charlie

Hi, Here's my first industry building from the backdrop series. It is inspired by a creamery company building in Ohio and another milk-traffic trackside structure. I've also made new roof detailing for industries. More details and photos on my web page I'll make 3 more backdrop bldg soon, and in between a UP Hotel will be done as well Charlie

Hi there, Now preparing the September-December period I'll soon start making models from different eras, as some of you want more modern structures. In that aim, I'll offer from October onwards the possibility to "Custom your Model" It is a service for designing and producing the structure that you want to create (from a picture, drawing, scaled drawings, etc) You can find more info on this page: zandusmodels.wordpress.com/custom-your-model/This leaves me some time to finish the ongoing projects Charlie
