How far do we get with the E8? The UP E8A-B units were injection moulded. We did try to custom paint some Milwaukee E9A-Bs ...... Best, Sven

Ooopss... Sorry, must have been still a little asleep when writing this, as I was in the wrong post. My question was about the layout "West of Caliente" in Altenbenken 2018 post. So please disregard it, and thanks for your reply anyway. Dom . I'd like to see All 4 modules, too. (Not going to Altenbenken this year) Our (Dirk & me) 4 Modules will not be on display in Altenbeken this time, Commodore, All 4 Modules have only been shown at the Ontrax! 2017. But you can always take a look at it in our Club rooms. www.fde-burscheid.de/index.phpYou are warmheartedly invited. Best, Sven

I think there is a big diffrence between asking price and sale price I bought the cab forward just three years ago, when there were still plenty of them for sale. The loco herself is a masterpiece, but I discarded the idea to buy the set because of the overall price. It seems I was right in my choice, as I could buy the resin injection cars even today, if I wished. It always strikes me how much expensive is to get the old times brass pieces by AZL/SZL. Nowadays I would make a folly only for either an Alco PA1 or the grey goose UP Challenger brass locomotive. Insetad of any other piece, I would rather purchase a lot of newer injection engines I fully agree with you, Ciccino! Jens Wimmel once wrote a review with these fantastic pictures of the grey goose UP Challenger; www.zettzeit.ch/2015-10-17-16-00-54/dampfloks/die-challenger-von-azlHave a nice Sunday! Best, Sven

Now, since everybody is waiting for AZL's "California Zephyr", the interest is rising to see more of the Burlington Route, isn't it? A set of E8s may be a good starting point; Sven. ...One of them is an E9. Just keeping you honest 😝😞😐😑 Corrected, Commodore Best, Sven

There are 90 locos out there, there must be a little more experience available. Share with us your first impression.... Compare it with others...... Use it..... Dirk and I had a guest for a few hours......... I love these brass engines! Have fun!
