Thanks a lot for the explanation ... Raymond First the good news... we are not sold out of the UPs. We have more in reserve and will be releasing them after QC. Also, we still have CSX in stock! In checking around, the NS Reading and the NS Savannah & Atlanta are also still available. So there are Aces out there! It does look like the West Coast roads are going to go faster than the East Coast roads. So I need some of you West coast guys to move to the other side of the room! Note the two photos below. The safety, or isolated cab has a line on the front. This is the separator to keep the cab isolated. There are other differences with the panels. The safety cab is shown on bottom. So why the difference? For 4 years the locos were built without the isolated cab. Here is the answer from Wikipedia: The SD70ACe uses the cab design of late-model SD90MAC-H units, which uses rectangular window glass and is externally different from the two cab variations used on earlier SD70M and SD70MAC units. In 2008, EMD standardized the isolated cab on subsequent SD70ACe's after non-isolated cab units were restricted from leading on BNSF Railway due to excessive cab vibration. So for prototype sake, run the isolated cab unit up front! Rob

DCC....No DCC...etc
As a former trainman, operator and dispatcher on the CN I still like better to turn my switches manually....That is my choice
I have left the railroad in 2004 while everything was already computerised...So I have experience both manual and computer.
It is a choice for everyone
Happy railroading to all

We are all expecting the new releases with extreme satisfaction even if you may make some mistake the quality is at the rendez-vous
I am still marvelling at my first AZL, a UP GP-9 # 113....It is always my test unit if something is wrong on my layout.

We do, but it may not be totally up to date. And it is in Excel only. Let me work on it and I will post it later this year. It will be for reference only. Sincerely, Hans (AZL) Excel is fine for me, I made one for myself of all AZL and MTL but it is never up to date....

Maybe a 0 to block out the 3, but our supplier does not do decals To bad, if anyone could make the decal, please post it since the 1800 had the most interesting life for the modeler
1801 was destroy in an accident
That leave only 1802....already on order from Anthony
By the way where are the CP heavyweights to go with ?
Those 3 units worked the Québec-Montréal passengers for a while
