Thank you MRJA,
these E7 are extremely rare and listed as "limited". Does somebody have more information about this?

Hi Dave, That is a fantastic set. Do you have some pictures? I read that our European friends swop the chassis with the ones from the most recent releases because of better running performance and value protection. What is your running experience? Digital? Sound? Best, Sven

As far as the E7 stock they ran great as long as they only turned left (or only right I forget). the truck gear that is driven by the motor worm gear was not cut correctly to mate with a worm gear. it was cut straight so when you turn the truck in one direction the gear would line up with the worm gear perfectly. turn it the other way and it would misalign so badly it would hop gear teeth causing damage to the main truck gear. I believe this was a problem with all the E7s but I might be incorrect. The new E8 chassis fit very nicely and is held on by some rubber/tungsten pads I filed down to fit. I'll look for the pictures I took during the mod. If not I'll take some more this weekend. Still runs like a champ.

Back to Union pacific,...., the Alco PA 1 does match with the AZL Heavyweights, but this time the heavyweights' yellow seem to be a little more orangish! Best, Sven

If we are going to talk brass, don't forget the passenger train sets, IMHO some of the most unique rolling stock in Z.

If we are going to talk brass, don't forget the passenger train sets, IMHO some of the most unique rolling stock in Z. Will not, Mark, Especially since they have been produced at the same time as the locos and therefore the colours match nicely. -) Here one example (thank you, Sascha!) for NYC. A perfect match !! Very nice set....... -) Dirk's PRR train (Thank you, Dirk!). Colorwise less perfect, i sense, but....... Here the overview by AZL: AZL Brass Cars: AZL # Road Name Road Number Notes 2601 NYC Set Of 6 Brass Cars 2, Road Numbers Available 2602 PRR Set Of 6 Brass Cars 2, Road Numbers Available 2603 SP Set Of 12 Brass Cars 2, Road Numbers Available PRR9 PRR 6554, 6580 RPO BM70M Heavyweight. Who has pictures of the SP trains? The Californian is here: azlforum.com/post/10525/thread The Daylight headed by a GS3: azlforum.com/post/7339I remember there existed some very nice videos !! Here is one with the full length "Coast Daylight": Enjoy, Best, Sven
