AZL brass always seems to disappear into nothing :-p Here is one of the best-ever collections (containing a lot of brass models, a little bit like a time warp for me): azlforum.com/post/1355Enjoy the two videos (and the relaxing music) Best, Sven

I am trying to sell the PRR E8 on the e-vil site since weeks, but it seems i am asking too much to let her go. I think that the customer base for brass E8's has been significantly reduced to brass collectors only since AZL launched the injection molded ones. Today you can buy a brand new one for about $160,- (e.g.: www.zscalemonster.com/azl/62600/ .. ). I myself was looking for the Burlington ones for more than 5 years, but no one ever showed up. Thus, finally, I took two injection molded ones and had them custom painted. A compromise a lot of people can live with in Z-Scale. On PRR you have even the competing injection molded E8 in AZL's portfolio. Thus, in my eyes a really hard sell if you don't find a brass collector. The good news is, this is the thread meanwhile a lot of Z-scale brass collectors are visiting on a regular basis. So, if you like to post your brass engines here, please feel free to do so. All the best, Sven

AZL's F45 was a fascinating engine. I only have some pictures of the Santa Fe in Kodachrome........ But may be that is good enough for the moment to trigger some dreaming.... Best, Sven

$999...too steep for this PRR guy. That's 5 ES44's. But you never know...just the right buyer may come along...
In fact I am happy to keep it with the current USD/Euro exchange and the double fees of e-evil/paypal i would not go lower. I fully understand that! I would keep it as well. Dirk has a fabulous PRR set with the brass engines. (a few sets are still available, or? >>> www.zscalemonster.com/azl/brasspass/brasspass.htm ) PRR Train: Observation Car, Mountain View 10-6 Sleeper, Clearfield Rapids 10-6 Sleeper Manistee, Rapids Dining Car #4602 Kitchen Car #4603 RPO BM70M #6568 RPO (AZL-PRR9) ALCO PA1 A-B (AZL-1827)

I have been informed that there exist some "Clinchfield RR" Challengers. Is this correct?

Finally, after a full year of work with a lot of drawbacks, we could finish our Southern Pacific custom paint project: THE LARK in 1:220 based on the fantastic car set of AZL. This is the correct SP/UP two-tone-grey (which we are still missing with AZL's HWs, may be it comes with the new LWs) I will make pictures in the new year when the train is expected to arrive in Niles. Best, Sven PS: Sascha did the custom paint job. Take a look at his webpage: www.zcustomizer.de
