The current may fit the graph, but the thing to check is the speed. My GP7 runs a very non-prototype 121 MPH (scale) at 8V. I generally characterize my locos to about 11 volts with no ill signs, but that would be over 150 MPH scale. I can't see a good reason to run that fast.

Speaking of testing ,I got my first 3 GP38-2s today.While I am typing this the first one is getting some break in time on the mini-loop.So far I am extremely pleased with them.
By the way Rob A.& Rob K.your camera does not do these beautys justice.
Now if I can only find the magic words to get you to do the nGP40s and 50 on this chassis. ;D
