Yes exactly. Should look cool to watch a train go through the switches from the inner loop to the outer. I have to see if I can do the same on my layout. I haven't added any scenery so it should be easy to change if I have the space. I have a Pentrex DVD from the Twin Cities where a BN grain train is doing just that, slowly coming from the yard crossing the first mainline track onto the second track going through two pair of switches instead of a crossing. I looked but that part isn't on YouTube even if the trailer for the DVD is.

Looks like a fun layout. I don't see any technical issues. My thought for you now is to play with making the layout a little less regular. Maybe run a diverging spur in the yard. You might want to check out the NMRA document or some of the MR articles on yards for ideas on freight station and loco servicing stations that you'd may want to add to the layout.
Regarding posting images here, I believe there is a file size limitation that you may have exceeded. Just take the image and resize it in Paint or your favorite graphics program.
