While thinking about new freight cars, I remembered I wanted to duplicate some passenger cars and their locos I did in HO. The AEM-7 loco was nice with phase IV and V Amtrack cars. Love that NorthEast Electric look. -JamesTraction

First I would like a passenger set to match my jersey central marklin blue comet !
Then I would love unusual cars in any era; i.e, yellow, green, red your.imagination is already working! Also match locos with /freight in proto era, line, as an alacarta pkg package. INMHO

If MTL had not done the smooth side cars we would probably have jumped in by now. For the time being, I'm trying to finish up out heavyweight project before starting the next. NE corridor is tough for locomotives, but maybe I could see the AmFleet cars since they wandered all over the USA. Still waiting for ATSF from AZL...Will my dream come through ? Raymond Morrissette Well, I like ATSF too! What are you looking for? Locomotive? Freight Cars? Passenger Cars? Best, -Rob

I'd like to see some of the old heavy passenger coaches from the steam era come on the market. Many newer era coaches have been offered in different lines, but the old wood and metal sided ones with the vents on top (like the Casey Jones which Marklin offered in the set) have not been seen. What do the rest of you think?

Something with mass appeal...California Zephyr. It would just need some matching F units. I would also like to see some old time wooden coaches that would work well with the smallest Rokuhan curves. Something like this: www.sonnet.com/usr/curn/coll/DSC08097.jpgPortland Rail Car made a Z scale brass set of these long before I got into Z. The chances of me finding one for sale are slim.

But remember, the Casey Jones engine is settled in the 1890´s, while those passenger cars with their open platforms are timed during and a bit passed the Civil War! I have told a long time ago Märklin to get the right cars for the C J-train, but they decided otherwise. OK, it´s their money, not mine. But - after they (Märklin) put them out for sale, I wrote to them again, asking now for an American 4-4-0 as the correct engine for those pass. cars. See Geo. B. Abdill CIVIL WAR RAILROADS, and G. M. Best IRON HORSES TO PROMOMTORY. Nothing happened so far from Märklin. I would rather have some of those 12-wheel-cars or the ones from the 1880´s, Monitor roofs, closed Vestibuls. Remember the great Passenger Car Planes from Walthers? Or any others with passenger car plans? Rainer, Germany

Right you are Peterrex! I tried to qualify my post by putting in wood and metal like the later heavies of the early-mid 20th century, just hoping to cover my bases in the wish that anything is better than nothing. Thanks for the support.

Hello, I would like to see modern Amtrak equipment: Superliners, Amfleets, AutoRacks, box cars and P-42 to match them. Dmitry, California

Hi Guys,
These are great suggestions. I'm thinking in the near future that we (Hans and myself) will go through the list and put together a "most likely" group. From that, we will create a poll to see what's most popular. No promises, but if everything adds up, you just might see one or more turn into real products!
Best, -Rob

Hello to all!
I give another vote for Amtrak P-42 and Superliners (coach, sleeper, diner and lounge).
