Here are the pictures of the painted tanks. They were photographed on a black "ceramic" table to get the best contrast. The fuel tank is 9 mm in length, 8 mm in height and 4 mm in depth (without pipes and supports). In 1/1 scale this is 6.5’ x 5.8’ x 2.9’ . The small propane tank is 11.1 mm in length and 2.7 mm in diameter (without hood and supports). In 1/1 scale this is 8’ in length and 23.4" in diameter. It is intended for « individual » houses. The large propane tank is 13.9 mm in length and 3 mm in diameter. In 1/1 scale this is 10’ in length and 26" in diameter. It is intended for « town » houses. These dimensions are "theoretical" in the CAD program (Sketchup 6), they can vary slightly due to the printing process. Unfortunately I had issues with the stores at Shapeways and the STL files are too large to be put directly on the AZL forum site for downloading (the smallest, zipped, is 1.1MB). So I zipped the three stl files into one, this makes 2.4MB. If You are interested, please send me a mail to : lemice-terrieux@laposte.net ( for our french friends) I will send You the file back maximum 48 hours later as an attachment, and You can choose Your provider for printing ; if You don’t get an answer, please contact me via a PM on the forum (mails coming from some sources are unfortunately rejected by my mailbox). At Shapeways, the fuel tanks should be printed in standard Fine Detail Plastic (FUD), the propane tanks in processed ( i.e. polished) White Versatile Plastic ; with these materials You don't need the "print it anyway" option. The prices today are 8.06 € (about 8.87 $) for two fuel tanks and 6.46 € (about 7.12 $) for 4 propane tanks (small or large).
