Anyone know or have swapped the shells from a Soo Line GP30 w/AAR trucks, with a GP38? I was thinking about making a GP38 with AAR trucks for something different. Just like the style of those! BTW, still hoping for the Milwaukee Road GP30 w/AAR trucks to come along soon.....  |

Question just for my culture : in the prototype has there been GP38(-2)s delivered with AAR trucks, like indeed a few GP30s ?

I'm not sure about GP38's with AAR trucks, but the Ann Arbor, GM&O, and even Frisco had some GP35's with the AAR style trucks. Just be interesting and different to see a GP38 with them!  |
