Can a too low temperature have a negative effect on Rokuhan turnouts ? Is there any "grease" inside which can "curb" the flipping of the moveable parts ?

Living in snow country, I’ve operated the Rokuhan straight turnouts and crossovers down to about 3-5°C without issues. The ones I’ve opened do not have any apparent lubrication. If you’re using power routing, I’d discourage any lubricant that might cause problems wit electrical contact.

Or could it be a problem of "generations" ? I saw on "Antony" 's site that there are "old" versions (039 and 040 replacing 006 and 007) ?
