Yikes. That's all I could say when I bought these in this condition. They needed major repairs and tlc. I'll have to etch handrails for both pieces due to the originals being cutoff.   |

After a close examination the pieces weren't in too bad of condition. I soldered the dash 9 back together and discovered the walkways were in very bad condition. I may yet replace those. I need to etch handrails for both engines and fortunately that's something I can do at home. The tunnel motor is missing the AC unit so I will have to scratchbuild that piece.

I spent the evening polishing the tunnel motor and soldering the dash 9 back together   |
